Music festivals like Stagecoach in Indio have also played a pivotal role, attracting both mainstream country stars and underground artists while cultivating a devoted local fanbase eager to support the scene year-round. During the spring and summer months, you can find weekly country shows at The Echo’s Grand Ole Echo night. Desert 5 Spot is a relatively new location in Hollywood that is now the de facto center of town for Country music entertainment, regularly hosting both local and touring acts. Keep an eye open for shows promoted by Grand Ole Country Bunker, often occurring at Sassafras Saloon or the Bigfoot Lodge. There’s also the Honky Tonk Saloon at Maui Sugar Mill.
