    Wiltern

The Wiltern is an historic art deco building first opened in 1931. One of the larger mid-size venues in Los Angeles, it has a (post-covid) theater capacity of 1875. Has hosted musical acts such as Billy Strings, Dark Star Orchestra, Bob Dylan, The Flaming Lips, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Dr. Dog, Beck, and many more over the years. Has fallen off a bit as a jam band destination, but still hosts the occasional heady act. Street parking is difficult but there is premium parking underneath the Wiltern, and additional multi-story parking garage at Ralph’s grocery store (entrance on Oxford).
