Rockstar Halloween Ball: Bowie vs. Steely Dan

Celebrate Halloween on a prime Saturday night at Ventura’s premier oceanfront ballroom. The 1st Annual Rockstar Halloween Ball brings a live, head-to-head tribute battle to the top floor of the Crowne Plaza, featuring Electric Duke (David Bowie tribute) facing off against Doctor Wu (Steely Dan tribute).

Come dressed as your favorite rock star, music legend, or classic Halloween icon. Throughout the evening, the bands trade rapid-fire 40-minute battle sets featuring era costume changes, leading up to an interactive live audience vote, costume contest awards, and pre/post-show DJ sets.

• Live Tribute Face-Off: 4 rounds of alternating battle sets showcasing the catalog of David Bowie vs. the jazz-rock precision of Steely Dan.
• Costume & Era Changes: Watch both acts transform across iconic musical eras between rounds.
• Interactive Fan Voting: Scan the live QR codes during the show to cast your vote for the champion tribute band and the costume contest winners.
• Top 5 Costume Contest: The top 5 contestants take the stage at 9:10 PM for the live audience vote, with cash and prize packages awarded.
• DJ Sets & Dancing: Pre-show, transition, and late-night party sets to keep the room moving until 11:00 PM.
