Nigel, our owner is synonymous with music in Ojai. If you want good music around these parts, there’s a good chance that you will have ended up in one of his previous establishments: The Village Jester and the Vine. We carry on the tradition with top end musicians at Feros Ferio. Every Saturday and Sunday, come in early, grab some wine and enjoy whomever is playing between 4pm-6pm. It probably doesn’t matter who it is…it will always be good.

Grape, The
HOUSE OF JAZZ & SPIRITS
Back in 2010 Josh McNutt and Adam Randall set out to create a venue to sell their world class wines and live jazz. They called it Squashed Grapes. It didn’t take long for the Ventura Jazz Renaissance to happen and they started to see large crowds showing up to watch big named artists play and sip some wine. The small location started to become an issue, so they decided that it was time to find a larger venue. Josh and Adam loved the area and knew that it had to be in Ventura and still have that “Home Style Feel”.
In 2016 they set out to find a bigger place that they could still grow with. A few months in they found the perfect place, just a few blocks away from the original Squashed Grapes on Main St. Over the next 4 years, through fires and Covid shutdowns, they designed and built out the new location now known as The Grape, House of Jazz and Spirits. (This time with a full liquor license!)
Opened in October 2021, The Grape is known for bringing in some of the best talent around for intimate performances combined with top notch craft cocktails and friendly ambiance and has become one of the leading Jazz Venues on the West Coast!

Ventura Music Hall
Opened in 2022, The Ventura Music Hall is probably the best place in all of Ventura County to see a show. Professional staff, great food and drink options, plenty of parking, and excellent floor plan and sight lines, not to mention their gold star talent booking. Worth a drive from LA to catch your favorite act.
