Since 1978, the Huck Finn Jubilee has proudly promoted and preserved bluegrass music, hosting some of the genre’s most renowned artists. From Bill Monroe and Earl Scruggs to Alison Krauss and Ricky Skaggs, our stage has welcomed true icons of bluegrass.
When the city of Ontario, CA took over, changes were made, including shifts in the festival’s core purpose.
In 2017, the Jubilee was on the brink of closure when the Malinowski family stepped in to save it, bringing it back to its roots.
Today, Huck Finn Jubilee stands as a boutique festival in San Dimas, CA, offering families who love camping and bluegrass a safe, intimate environment. Close to the conveniences of the city, yet immersed in nature, it’s the perfect escape from the hustle of LA, providing a personal, comfortable experience unlike larger festivals.
While we will continue to feature nationally touring acts, we’re also excited to offer a blend of these top headliners alongside local and regional talent. Our goal is to provide a unique experience where you can enjoy bluegrass greats while also discovering rising stars—giving you the chance to experience tomorrow’s headliners today.

We also offer plenty of kid’s activities, food trucks, artisan vendors, workshops and more. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
