Stewart Forgey & Blue Noise
Inspired by the relationship between music and colors, Stewart Forgey creates music that is based off of a vibrant spectrum of colors that shape and define an overall sound. As a multi-instrumentalist and singer, Stewart has played and recorded with bands like Pacific Range, Mapache, Katie Skene, TV Broken 3rd Eye Open and more. Stewart has a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music and has scored 12 short films and one feature film. These films range from stop motion shorts for a Disney art gallery in Japan, to a full length documentary.
As a solo artist, Stewart draws upon all of the various projects he has been a part of and channels his film scoring background to create music that has a visual effect with a wide color palette. Feelings of vast open landscapes and intimate personal reflections drive the architecture of a free, unconstricted sound that extends beyond your speakers and weaves seamlessly into the echo of the world around you.
The Cormorants
