Steely Jam channels Steely Dan’s timeless groove, wit, and class— with a special guest saxophonist Tom Scott on June 21st.
As far as Steely Jam is concerned, no other band over the decades has withstood the test of time – with the freshness, groove, wit, and class as the music of Steely Dan. They are a group of musicians committed to not only making it sound like Walter and Donald intended; but also feel the way it’s supposed to feel. Steely Jam proudly pays homage to the sound, the sense of humor and sophisticated social satire that Fagen and Becker created. This show will featuring a special guest, saxaphonist Tom Scott, along with the main band.
Located at 4211 Admiralty Way, inside of the famous Killer Shrimp Restaurant and Bar. Indulge in fantastic acoustics, craft cocktails, exclusive liquors, and breathtaking waterfront views. The event can become a “dinner and a show” experience by enjoying the delicious meal choices offered at Killer Shrimp, located in the same building, before the performance. This is an “in the know” event hidden from the public eye so make sure to ask for Yacht Club Overkill Room by name when seeking directions upon arrival to the venue.
