Welcome to summer, you beautiful butterflies you! Let’s shed our caterpillar skins and get ready for some transformation by our favorite immersive art experience, a black light body painting dance party!!! Begin imagining the glowing body paint you’d like to embody and get ready for our talented artists to make this a reality!
Bring your wings, your glow and your flow arts, and let’s get ready to dance! We will be at a larger venue “Apartment 503,” a beautiful rooftop bar venue in Korea town with space to grow and space to flow on the 5th floor. So invite all your friends and let’s make some magic together!
Not sure what to wear? Neon, white or anything that glows in black light. Wear whatever you like, or come in next to nothing, just get painted up and fit right in! Wings are encouraged 😉 Don’t have wings yet? Special guest Dancing Wings by Durian Songbird will have their magic available for you to take for a spin!
For those of you who have not been to a Bodies & Beats dance party, this is a black light reactive body painting dance party, not just any dance party! At this party, everyone has an opportunity to get body painted by one of our 10 world class body painters. You will be interacting with some amazing full body painted GoGo dancers, creating an immersive art experience. For attendees a medium sized body painting, face, arm, etc. are included with your tickets to the party (though not guaranteed) and tips are always appreciated! If you’re serious about getting body painted we recommend coming early to avoid lines, don’t wait until the very end of the event when it’s too late! Please remember that bigger body paintings require bigger tips, our paints are hypoallergenic, high quality, skin safe and expensive. If you’re not sure how much to tip for the art you desire, just ask your artist and they will tell you.
