Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Zac isn’t just a singer and guitarist—he’s a storyteller, a torchbearer of tradition, and one of the boldest, most soulful voices in contemporary blues today.
Before stepping into the spotlight with his own powerful sound, Zac spent years in L.A. as a sought-after session guitarist and songwriter, crafting songs for legends like The O’Jays and The Whispers. But in 2004, everything changed when he won the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge, launching a solo career that’s taken him to major stages around the world.
Zac’s voice carries grit and warmth in equal measure, and his guitar work blends raw Delta grooves with smooth Southern soul. Whether he’s sliding into a slow-burning ballad or tearing through a swampy shuffle, Zac Harmon brings heart, history, and heat to every note.
