JazzGood: Don Brown Collective

On Thursday July 31st, we invite you to a night of collective joy. WalkGood LA presents JazzGood, the very first jazz night series at The WalkGood Yard, featuring The Don Brown Collective. Doors will open at 7:30PM.  We will have two 45 minute jazz sets for you to enjoy with an intermission. There will be food and drink vendors to support. We would love to see you there. 

Jazz is a celebration of culture and freedom. Born in the early 20th century in New Orleans, jazz emerged from the lived experience of Black Americans. It’s about resistance and joy. Jazz is a sacred genre that holds a lot of wisdom. This is a time where we need to lean into the art form – we need more of that spirit and energy permeating through the community right now.

Featuring Don Brown on the drums, Isaac Green on bass, Michael Isaac on guitar, Ronnie Heard and Chris Powe on the saxophone, and Tatiana Tate on the trumpet.
