Funk the night away with Ghost-Note’s final performance of the year. With an electrifying DJ set by Lyric Jones, while Debonair Lounge curates a luxe cigar experience complete with premium, hand-rolled cigars in an exclusive lounge on-site.
Guests can test their luck at table games, claim bragging rights in the Spades Tournament, and tear up the floor in a high-energy Dance Competition. Ghost-Note | Continuing to tour the world after the release of their acclaimed April, 2024 album Mustard n’Onions on Mack Avenue records, Ghost-Note is led by drummer Robert “Sput” Searight and features musicians who have performed and recorded with Prince, Kendrick Lamar, Herbie Hancock, Snarky Puppy, Marcus Miller, Kirk Franklin and other icons. Ghost-Note are bracing in their virtuosity, affecting in their soulfulness and inspired in their sonic choices. Their live shows are a tour de force of funk with dazzling solos and air-tight arrangements that will have you dancing and shaking your head in awe. The massive Percussion and Horn driven band delivers a “mind-blowing healing sensation that is positively, unapologetically funky.”
Lyric Jones is a dynamic Artist + DJ whose sound lives at the intersection of house, dance, disco, funk, and open-format expression. Formerly known for her acclaimed work as a hip hop artist, her voice has been aligned with icons such as Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest and Rah Digga, and she has shared stages with legends such as Rakim, Goodie Mob, and Slum Village. A skilled vocalist, live performer, and drummer, it’s no surprise she has seamlessly extended her artistry into the DJ booth.
In just the past few years, Lyric’s DJ career has taken flight with standout performances for the GRAMMY Museum, The Chosen Few Picnic, and major cultural events. She has shared the decks with Gavin Turek, Soul Clap, Terry Hunter, Wayne Williams, and has opened for The Pharcyde and Cory Henry.
Lyric is also an alum of DJ Jazzy Jeff’s Playlist Retreat (2024 + 2025), receiving co-signs from Jeff himself, and has built creative partnerships with Serato and Roland.
Whether behind the decks or blending live vocals into her sets, Lyric Jones brings deep musicality and feel-good energy rooted in decades of Black music, rhythm, and groove.
