Cielo Sessions returns with a magical night of live music featuring Brazilian Samba sensation from Rio De Janeiro, Rogê + an acoustic opening set by Monogem and DJ sets throughout the evening by Wyldeflower of KCRW. Cielo Sessions is a new monthly music series featuring curated live music experiences amongst the vineyards, under the open sky, in the heart of the Malibu mountains.
Latin Grammy nominated & Brazilian Music Awards granted artist, songwriter, composer and musician in his own right, considered to be a principal part of the Brazilian popular music scene revival (MPB), Rogê has released 7 solo albums and 2 collaborations – with samba legend Arlindo Cruz (Na Veia, 2016, Warner Music) and with Seu Jorge (Seu Jorge & Rogê, 2020, Night Dreamer Records). Now based in Los Angeles, CA, he just released “CURYMAN” (Diamond West Records) , his debut album in the United States.
MONOGEM is the bilingual alt-R&B project of singer-songwriter Jen Hirsh, whose sound bridges R&B, jazz, and Latin influences. Her debut bilingual album Gardenia has already surpassed 10 million streams, spotlighted for its rich storytelling and nods to her Mexican heritage. A Season 11 American Idol finalist turned critically acclaimed artist, MONOGEM has been featured by Billboard’s On The Radar Latin, Rolling Stone, GRAMMY.com, and Harper’s Bazaar, while sharing stages with Christine & The Queens, Allie X, and Yuna. Recent highlights include a collaboration with electronic producer LP Giobbi and opening for Maluma at Penske Media’s LA3C festival—moments that affirm her rising place in the global alt-R&B and Latin music landscape.
Cielo Sessions seeks to inspire and connect diverse audiences by curating live performances that celebrate music, culture, and community. Our mission is to bring people together in a setting where artistry thrives and meaningful connections are made.
