For jazz enthusiasts, Harvelle’s in downtown Long Beach presents live blues and jazz in a sophisticated underground setting. The cozy 4th Street Vine wine bar features local musicians in their back patio, while DiPiazza’s blends Italian cuisine with a regular rotation of local rock bands.
Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach hosts touring bands most nights of the week. The old Brouwerij West may be gone, but has been rebranded into an event space called Warehouse 9, often catering to jam band fans. Project Barley serves up craft beer and local music in several spots, with their Lomita location the most popular for live performances.
